Magnificent
Fiesole is one of the more ancient cities of Tuscany, evidenced
by the Etruscan archaeological ruins which date from the seventh
century B.C. Fiesole is situated on a hill (295m) which
overlooks Florence, only 7 kms from the historic centre.
It is a peaceful but lively small centre, with many restaurants
and shops. It is also an ideal basis for walking
